Tapps Island Association

Tapps Island is a prime residential community dedicated to enhancing and maintaining its livability and property values consistent with its unique environment and natural beauty. *****************************************************************

President
Don Lisko

Don Lisko has lived on Tapps Island for 12 years.  He is a recently retired banker, currently working in commercial real estate leasing & sales.   Don was appointed to the Board in August 2007 to fill the unexpired term of a board member who resigned.  He was immediately elected treasurer of the Association, then the following year was elected Vice President.  He wants to develop a long-range operating plan for the improvement of the Association’s facilities and operations while maintaining profitable restaurant and golf course operations.  Don enjoys boating, golfing and landscaping.

Vice President
Ralph Mason

Ralph feels especially privileged to live on Tapps Island enjoying the beauty of the lake and mountains and the beauty of the exceptional community that we share.  He wants to work to preserve and enhance our quality neighborhood and the Island amenities that we enjoy.  Ralph also feels that Covenants are important and require periodic review to insure they adequately protect the value and livability of our homes and community that we enjoy.  They need to be modernized to reflect today’s best construction practices.  Enforcement must be consistent and tempered with good judgment.

Treasurer
Perri Nieman

Perri Nieman has been a Tapps Island resident for 9 years.  She was privileged to serve the Tapps Island community as an employee in the TIA office for three years and is now serving our community as a Board member, providing unique insights and perspective that can benefit our very special community.

Secretary
Sandy Shuman

Sandy Shuman, Tapps Island resident for over 14 years, enjoys serving on the landscape committee.  She has always enjoyed serving in various capacities and now feels she would like to serve in her own community.  Sandy feels very blessed to live on this unique and beautiful Island.  She enjoys the people that live here as well as the beauty!  As a board member Sandy would like to be an advocate for all island members in continuing to maintain, improve and foresee future needs of Tapps Island.

Jon Bial
Trustee

Jon Bial has been a resident of Tapps Island for over 25 years. Recently retired from over 38 years of working in the packaging industry, Jon feels he now has the time and energy to serve on the Board. Jon's main goal is to help insure that the unique Tapps Island quality of life is both maintained and enhanced. He looks forward to helping the Board address the issues and concerns identified by Island residents in the recent survey.

Kim Harlington
Trustee

Kim Harlington has been an Island resident for 10 years.  She is an attorney, who previously served as a Trustee for the Auburn Library and helped manage its growth and the building of its new facility.  She enjoys gardening, waterskiing, snow skiing, books and horses.  She and her husband, Eric, are also active in youth sports. Kim believes Tapps Island is an incredible place to raise a family, and she wants to see our facilities maintained and upgraded to better serve our growing community.

Jeff Krueger
Trustee

Jeff Krueger has been on the Island for about 20 years.  He is a Boeing manager and, in his free time, enjoys snow skiing, golfing, and boating.  As a board member Jeff looks forward to an opportunity to help shape our community. We have a premiere neighborhood with great amenities, both social and recreational but it takes effort to maintain and improve those qualities.  Jeff feels he can contribute in helping make Tapps Island a desirable community people want to call home.

Rich Kumar
Trustee

Richard Kumar has been a Board member since 2001. As a Tapps Island resident Richard's goal is to continue to listen to the voice of the residents and work towards improving the community.
